Rebecca Riley is a painter based in Brooklyn. She paints in oil and acrylic on canvas, and also works with a variety of media on paper. Her most recent work is her series of Map paintings.

I will be showing work in an exhibition titled Creative Cartographies at the Brooklyn Arts Council, September 26, 2008 – January 9, 2009. This exhibition “will explore the contemporary impulse to create structure and meaning in an increasingly chaotic world through the incorporation of maps into visual media.”
